Sunflower HDR

I am getting obsessed with sunflowers. This is the latest in a long line of attempts to get a desktop wallpaper from my garden.

Great subject! I’m leaning more toward the second if I had to choose between these two. The first is a bit too generic with the center composition for me. I like where you’re going with cutting off of some edges and getting in close - maybe with less background detail or some more sunflowers in the background.

Thanks for the comments. I prefer 2 but will try a few more "rule of thirds" compositions.

yes I see your point.

I like the Tone Mapped look for computer desktops and I like natural colours for pics intended as pictures.

Here is a few blurring the lines between tone mapping and natural:

The first one here is my favourite so far. More a digital composition that a photograph.
I like the second one with the over saturated yellows and the dulled greens. Really wanted the flower to jump out and assault the senses.
