Sunrise on New Years & Night Sky Photos for C&C

I went out early on 1/1/12 to take photos of the sunrise and this was my favorite.

Then last night I went out and tried to photograph the meteor shower. I only saw 3 and each time they were behind my camera though I did manage to take a few interesting shots of the stars. How did I end up doing?

I like 2 and 4, what was your exposure time if you don't mind me asking?

#2 was 32 seconds with f3.5 and ISO 1000. #4 had the same settings except its exposure time was 26 seconds. (I was using a remote shutter and just kind of guessing the time hence the differences)
