Sunrise Valley

During my few weeks backpacking through Kenai Fjords National Park the weather afforded but one sunny day. Here's one of my favorite photos; the sun shines through a valley over a glacial outwash plain in the early morning, puncturing the fog that never seemed to lift. Unfortunately most other photos I took this morning were too soft.
