Finally getting through the Italy portion of our trip around Europe last fall. Here's one of the sunset over the Arno River from our first night in Florence.

D800, 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 42mm, f/5.6, 1/250 sec, ISO 100, 10 shot panorama
 
Bumpedy bump. Any thoughts on this one? It's a bit darker than I would typically do. Is it too dark? Lacking too much detail in the buildings?
 
Looks like a beautiful spot. Too much water in the foreground, IMO. If it was smooth and reflecting the buildings it would work better but as is, just too much of it is just gray and uninteresting. Can't control the breeze and the current! Looks like one bridge over had a better view of the sunset colors.

Very nice shot, but yes too much in shadows that begs to be seen. You have an NEF there's lots of data there. Open shadows and raise contrast.
