Hi all. This is Mel and Rose (we live in Melrose) and they are the resident swans at our local pond.
I took these yesterday - early am but still a bit after sunrise. Used my 7100 and Tamron 70-300, no tripod. Mostly used A priority at 5.6 . I was shooting into the low sun at one swan and the other I was shooting in the opposite direction. Any feedback for next time? Other than go earlier for softer light! PP tips would be appreciated as well. Not really sure if there are bird/animal specific post processing tips? For these I mostly just sharpened the swan and cropped - a few I had to lift the shadows or up the exposure a smidge.
