Double take. I really really like this one. Are you able to leave a little more room at the top and to the left to allow the birdie some space to take off?

Terrific; in my head, I can just see that poor heron just falling over as he tries to fly off!

I agree with both John and Jaca though; if this is cropped, and you can go back and give the bird some room on the left and top, and then maybe adjust the curves a bit, this would really be outstanding.
