Went out shooting today, felt good about some of the results. I would love your input/critique.

kind of silly processing with the border.

Yes, totally cliche. Proper exposure, excellent use of color, good composition, nice texture... all totally overdone!!!

I really like the last ('cliche') one. It's a technically well-executed image and interesting to look at. The contrasts are nice, I like the dividing lines (grass on the horizontal, crack on the vertical). I like the fact that at the line created by the grass, the lines within the subsections of the image go from horizontal to vertical.

The others, I'm afraid, do nothing for me, though they're all competently done.

I really do like #3 (the barbed wire) -- it's very simple. The barbed wire adds some neat shapes, and the bag of course is interesting and somewhat unexpected. You colud probably crop it a bit better (and please ditch the border!), maybe try to find that same place when there are more interesting clouds. But overall, cool.
