A quick question from my side:

Teleconverters?

I currently have a Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 lens, and it seems, that Sigma does not have any teleconverters for this lens.

Are there any other manufacturers of teleconverters that can mount this lens?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions ;)

Depends on your mount, but there are lots of old Vivitar and Kenko TCs out there... most likely won't allow you automatic metering/exposure but my question is, why would you use a TC with that lens. Even a 1.4 TC is going to give you a maximum aperture around f8; likely to slow for auto-focus to work (assuming it would still work with an off-brand TC).

TCs really work best on fast primes (200, 300, 400 2.8s) and higher-end zooms (70-200 2.8, 200-400 2.8), but on consumer walk-around lenses, I think you'll notice a significant degradation in IQ.

That is what I was afraid of.

The main reason behind it is, that I wanted to check whether I could beef up that old lens - was the kit lens back then when I bought it.
My 400mm lens has a converter, so that works fine...ah well, guess the kit lens will need to stay just that :D
