I spotted this mockingbird harassing the hell out of a red shouldered hawk that perched too close to it's nest. The hawk seemed slightly amused but ignored it for the most part.

Awesome! I saw a squirrel do the same with a hawk a couple years ago. I thought for sure I was going to snap it's death, but the hawk flew away and the squirrel took the hawk's perch as if it was king of the mountain:1247:

Cool story ... animals usually (not always) stay away from things that are angry and able to inflict damage and a squirrel can bite deep.
