Here is a little tour of the Texas Highways durring the spring. My main focus is obviously on Bluebonnets but I spotted a few other gems as well. Please tell me what you think. #1 A view of how prolific the Bluebonnets get in spring #2 Sharing the roadside with other wild flowers #3 #4 #5 As the Sun sets #6 Another Sunset #7 I shot this with my 10.5 I liked the effect #8 Some tiny blooms (less then 1/4") #9 And some more #10 My second favorite wild flower the Indian Paintbrush #11 From another angle
You have some beautiful shots there! I like #2 with the blues and the yellows but I would like it alot more if it didn't have the tops of the buildings in the background. My other favorites are #5 and #7. I also like that effect.
Actually there billboards, it's the price you pay for shooting on the highway. I guess I could edit them out.
Nice stuff. Look like what we used to have (pygmy lupine), but big. We used to have flowers, back when we used to have rain, but that was in the spring, and we don't have that any more either.
Very Nice I am partial to #6. I've been lazy and yet to venture out to the Blue Bonnets...I'm sure they'll be gone by the time I get there. Regards, Peter Witham
