Hi, my photos are simply not as good as the ones I see on here. Now I'm not fishing for compliments and I will continue to practice and gain knowledge from this forum.

Just keep going on with you photography ... you don't have to post stuff until you feel more comfortable.

Check the first link in my signature - there are lots of ways to help you grow and develop and many here willing to help you do so. Many (most) people learn better when helped. They learn better and faster than they would otherwise self learning. Plus a new set of eyes can often show you things that you might not otherwise spot or see or know to look for.

I think being able to take constructive criticism is the first step in improving. In submitting a photo, you imply you wish an honest critique. It is only human to be proud of our creations and biased for them. Some of the experienced people here are like doctors in that they could use a bit of help in their bedside manner, but their diagnosis should be listened to so we can " heal ". I hope you change your mind and continue to post...it will only help you in the end.
