Finally have the new router password changed. The link on the app and the desktop kept giving me 404 error. Called support and was only on hold for 1 minute this time. Cameras, lights, etc all are online. Odd one of the TVs would not turn on this morning which is nothing to do with the wifi. Tried a few things and as a last resort unplugged it and plugged it back in. Works now.

A 12 hour & 24 hour marinade, so 1/2 tonight with chips fish & salad & 1/2 for lunch tomorrow.

They say snow to 600 meters tomorrow and the day after at the small mountain, the Strzelecki's top out at 700meters & the park there is between 600 to 700.

If theres no snow before Mt Tassie theres no point going any further up. I'll try both days because i feel like some hot tomato soup.

It was really humid and gross here today. Barely finished a 2.5 mile walk with the dog very early this morning. Weather seemed ok at first but I wasn’t ready for the sudden rise in humidity. it went from decent to muggy-nasty in a snap. I spent the rest of the day just trying to rehydrate! It’s beautifully cool right now. Good sleeping weather! Beach tomorrow I think. Haven’t been in a long time.

Yes, for about a week or two, although it is usually covering an inch or so of solid ice... makes it real fun to drive in. Bubba usually thinks he'll do just fine in his 4x4, only to find out that no traction is no traction whether it is FWD, AWD, or 4x4.

Four Wheel Drive let's you get stuck in the least accesible places.

There are quite a few that get stuck in the sand, driving on the beach on Assateague Island. Summertime when there's no rain, the sand gets like sugar. Folks don't bother to air down the tires and when they get stuck, insist on flooring is, so they dig in further. Tows start at $500 and if they don't have the required OSV permit, that's a fine (I don't know how much, but likely more than the $110 annual permit fee).

Picking up the yaks after work today. Tomorrow I take MLW to the Watch Office for 24 hours of OT, then install the in-bed rails that should be delivered today. Pick up some lumber and hardware, and make the yak rack in the back (yard). The rest of the truck rrack setup should be shipped in a couple days. I'm planning on taking the 1/2-day class in Freeport at the end of August.
