Mine has a coupling on the deck that takes a standard quick connector for a garden hose, that seems to work. We're heading back to MD next week to multiple 90+ days. I just got the portable air condistioners installed here.

I awoke to the loon's sounding, yesterday. It put me in a good mood.

Yeah mine has that too and I have the hose adapter but when I tried it out...it doesn't do much. Maybe its my water pressure.

I checked for the Summer Solstice this year (shortest day of the year) and this year it falls on tomorrow morning. Not sure what I'll do about it yet. Probably sleep - in.

I actually was out in the midday sun today (and will be tomorrow) but only because I have to get a bus to the zoo and it's only one every 2 hours, tomorrows zoo is an hour and a half away so need to set off early to make sure I'm back on time to make my fiancés evening meal, he's disabled not lazy though lol lol

No shame staying in touch with your pagan roots. Unsure how local law enforcement would feel about it, though. Some handouts might help explain things. Just a thought.

Happy Solstice, all ye Inner Pagans! Here in the Northern Hemisphere, it actually falls today/tonight at 10:42 pm.

Build that bonfire! Dance around it! Drive away those mosquitos! Get arrested with @jeffashman as he dances naked with his fae ring in the wrong place!

In the meantime, have some sunflowers (and others) to celebrate the longest period of sun today. They're not quite open yet and too tall for a straight-on look, so here - have this minty-fresh top-down kind of view.

From here on out, the days will grow shorter. This should make @limr very happy. We'll be complaining about the snow in no time.

Well, it's actually the shortest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. At Yuletide we will have the shortest day, and whine about how soon it gets dark in the afternoons.
