If anyone is really bored, these might provide some entertainment. Maryland State Traffic Cameras are along the interstates and State Highways. There is a msp to help anyone not familiar with the areas. I used to live near I-95/495 AT MD 5 (Wash. DC region), and MLSIL was close to I-97 N OF EXIT 16 MD 648 (Baltimore region).

Snowing at a good clip here. It started about 10am and is expected to snow through 10pm tomorrow night. The good news is that it’s very light and fluffy snow, the bad news is that it is freaking freezing out there. Refilled my bird feeders once already. They’re busy today. Took some bird shots in the snow. Can’t find my teleconverter. Cleaned out the junk drawer and a cabinet while I was looking. The search continues. I’m sure it’s in one of my bags or stuffed in a coat pocket somewhere….

I gave oldest my D40 a few years ago when I got the D750, Lazy Lobster gave me their D40 a little while back. It's not set to recognize AI-S lenses (the macro) so I have to dig through the manual to figure it out.

They will mount manuals without any metering. Friends use 'em with handheld meters. They're dirt cheap--so cheap in fact that many just pitch 'em. Have seen pals do interesting portrait sessions with that 6mp. Guess I'm slowly ditching film for aged trailing edge dslrs. Time marches on...

Despite having cleared the driveway and walkways last night around 8, woke up to this. The wind has blown the light snow right back to where it was. Sigh. It’s not snowing right now. The snowblower will make quick work of this if the wind calms down a bit. Need to check the forecast and figure out a good time.
