The driveway is cleared again. I'd estimate about 3 inches (7.6 cm if my mental math is correct) more dropped last night. MLW's meds are at the PO Box but I'll go tomorrow. She said she didn't need them right away and I didn't feel like going anywhere. I read some of the book in the Kindle app.

For dinner I just grabbed some leftover baked ziti. Everyone else is asleep.

Found my teleconverter! It was exactly where it should have been. Along with my lenses in my camera cabinet. A place I had looked at least 3x in the past few days. #sheslosthermind

They've walked back the sub zero lows for later this week to single digits. Might get gas delivered today...might not. Got the driveway plowed. Now to wait for a melt to go shopping.

A cold start to my day, 21F as I headed out the door for my morning walk with Phoebe. Guess i shouldnt complain as tomorrow the low predicted is 17F, with windy conditions, taking the wind chill to -5, and 48hrs where daytime highs remain below freezing.

Looks like 6F / -14.4C with wind chill of -7F / -21.6. MLW & I aree going into town to get a few groceries and some fabric. We're leaving Lazy Lobster and MLSIL here to work with the GC.

6°f/-14°c on the morning stroll. S'posed to see -2°f/-19°c tonight. This little holler holds cold so it's usually colder here than over either hill.

Been trying to get the idiots to deliver gas for a week. Under 5% from 18% Sunday. Been told not to call until it's 20% or less. Only day I didn't call them was Monday...no one else was open (snow), I didn't expect them to be. This company has never just executed a simple fill up...not enough...too much... delays...driver forgot(!!!!). When I burn what's left in the account they can come get the tank or pay me ground rent. Had enough with the incompetence. Manager told me this morning "no one told me" (was supposed to call me yesterday) and got a little miffed when I replied "passing the buck doesn't change the result...someone on your team dropped the ball."

I never treated my customers like that so I get disappointed when I get treated like I don't matter. And believe me Harley owners are a "challenging" lot. It's not a normal business either, it's a co-operative. I am a co-owner/member/stockholder. I don't get it.

We're all electric, but have a supplemental lp heater in the basement garage, gas fireplace and BBQ grill. Called my supplier last week to fill my tank, they came out Monday but never got out of the truck....just pulled away. Called them back to see what was going on, they claimed the driver had the wrong phone number for me and they forgot to tell him my CC was on file. So now they're coming out again Monday.

Remember the old days when customer service was dependable?

@cgw I can say this with all honesty I HATE COLD WEATHER!!!! Which is surprising, as I grew up in cold weather, hunted in cold weather over the years, never really bothered me. Now I'm sincerely thinking about selling out and moving further south!

Yay! Cyclone bomb starts tonight, Sunday morn around 9 again with wind chill below zero. At least they have backed off the foot+ to a more acceptable 4 to 6 inches for us.

I plan on adding one of those bushes to the back yard. They grow naturally along the lake here, although I'll get mine from the nursery... they frown on taking anything from Army Corps of Engineers land.
