A number of Jeep people say the wough get the Gladiator if it were a two-door. I'd love another 6" of bed length, but this one has been work just fine for us.

The only Ford truck I'd consider buying is a F250 lol.

The gas milage? Ehhh not so much. But man is it a truck.

So I try to find a vehicle that has the least potential for problems. They all have problems but finding one with the least crap on it has been my goal. You can even get the Nissan Frontier with a 6-foot bed, that is tempting but you can only get it in crew cab configuration. I don't have any friends so no need for extra seats

I'll be downsizing my next truck. The F350 dually is a beast, but I'm not towing heavy loads anymore. Since I still tow occasionally 8-10k equipment trailer, RV my next truck will be a F250. More compact and a tighter turning radius. Can't decide on staying with diesel or going to gas.

Gassers tend to be lower/cheaper upkeep over the long run. But diesel hauls much cheaper/better. Filp a coin, lol

I had an early F250 with the V10, it did okay, but there wasn't a gas station it didn't like. The new 6.8 mini godzilla is interesting.

Light snow falling. It is predicted to continue until 04:00 (AM, about 8-1/2 hours), with accumulation of 2 to 3 inches (5 cm to 7.6 cm) then add another 3 to 4 inches (7.6 cm to 10 cm) on Friday. It's supposed to hit 50s and even 60s next week and remain above freezing at night so maybe Spring really is going to arrive. I'm looking forward to some warmer temperatures: I have to change brake pads on the truck and grease the wheel bearings on the trailer. I also need to pop the truck grill off so I can properly install the moose lights.

The F350 I drive at work has a 7.3 Godzilla I believe. It's a big boy. But man it sounds good hahaha. I love how heavy feeling the truck is.

@nerwin love my current F350 6.7 Powerstroke, with 440hp and 860 lb-ft torque it's very responsive. Towing you set the cruise/exhaust brake, it just does it's thing up hill and down. Fitted out with all the bells & whistles for comfort it doesn't feel like a big truck driving....until you try to find parking place. LOL

Cottage pie tonight, with some pork "burnt ends" as an appetizer. The pork is pre-cooked, the pie is from scratch, though frozen veggies are used. Rather than beef stock, I use a local stout.

The Great Southern Pollening begins, also known as third spring. Sunday night was 35, tomorrow it will be 81. At least another month before all frost danger is past though.
