I got my new lawn mower!!!!! I'm excited, a dream finally came true. I've always wanted to own a really nice mower and think after all the years the pounding my back has taken, I deserve this. This is basically a lazy boy with a mower attached under it.

They're delivering it this weekend free of charge!! They better for the price I paid lol.

When I moved I dug out my 10-speed bike from storage (needs tires and adjustment). Thinking of making it stationary in the basement room I'm making (hobby/craft room) so to use it year round.

I bought a used hybrid/comfort bike after bad hip prevented long walks. I rode it 4 miles twice a week for a month and my leg muscles were sore as heck. After a month the pain went away and I now ride 7 miles every other day. It has made a huge difference in the way I feel and way more exercise than walking. An upright hybrid/comfort bike is way easier on your neck than a drop bar bike. Look for nearby rail trails or river trails. They don't have hills. The big 4 bike brands are; Giant, Trek, Specialized, and Cannondale. These are quality brands that last. Good luck.

Nice. I bought a new 17" cordless electric mower for my tiny yard. To cut, trim and blow my yard takes only 25 minutes.

I have a small yard but live on a private road, i.e. no state maintenance. So I bought this. Actually a little too much mower but I didn't want to buy two tools. Spent some time working on Kubotas to pay the bills. Virtually all of the breakage I saw was operator error, that will last you longer than most cars if you care for it as prescribed. If ya don't have one buy a grease gun and use it weekly. Went out to fire it up after sitting for a couple months. No battery charger and it fired right up.

I still have the Deere x300, though with mud season, here, I wish I'd have been able to go with a 4WD version. Maybe if I "air down" it will help. Otrherwise, I'm tempted to get an ATV winch.

ARC notified me my last platelet donation went to the Maine Medical Center in Portland, and to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. I have an appointment to give some more on Tuesday.

I also have a Kubota L2501

Can't really mow with it because doesn't have a mid pto, I guess you could put a 3 point finish mower on it but not practical to me. The zero turn is so much better for me. I considered getting a BX series with just the deck but I don't need another diesel tractor haha.

Property is definitely not big enough for an L series. Ever drive a Grand L series? Like a Cadillac. About as expensive too.

Honestly diesel is the only way to go for equipment. I know mine will outlast me.

A zero turn diesel was way more costly than the gas efi model I got. Wasn’t in my budget. Their riding mower with the 3 cyl diesel was almost as much as my L

I went to a logging expo this morning when I got back, the new mower was sitting in my driveway!

Man this thing is awesome. Cuts well, makes nice stripes too. The suspension seat is a game changer for me. I could NOT believe how much faster I was able to get the lawn mowed today. I saved over an hour of mowing!

I had to park it next to the other Kubota hehehe.

I have a similar one that my employer gave me as a long term employee award. It's very nice, but I ended up putting plastic mud guards on it, because our trail can have water on it for days, and I just don't like a stripe of water and mud on my back.

Happy Cinco de Mayo / ¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo! to anyone who celebrates.

I have platelet + plasma donation number five for the year in a few hours, so "light duty" after that.

Leaves have sprouted on the very old liac tree; the new tulips are in bloom, the rhododendron is budding and blooming, and the $#ithose (tiger) lilies and peonies are coming up. We brought up six peonies from the Maryland House and they survived the winter and my lawn mower, so all is good.

We had a couple kitchen cabinets pulled out when we started replacing the floor. I thought of using them in the basement shop but decided to go a different route, so I broke them down and took the pieces to the truck yesterday. I moved them around front using the lawn tractor and a small dump cart. It decided to rain a little (one of those misty types) before I finished loading the truck so I didn't get the grass cut. I'll knock out the front this afternoon ... .or I'll go fishing.

I'm sure your Mom will be happy to drive again. Stay independent as long as possible. I drove my MIL & Mom around. I joked with them they couldn't have doc appts or be sick on the same day.
