What's new

The Coffee House

Go for broke. "Heart Attack Grill." This place is "nutritional pornography" at its worst:

That's just shear piggery🤣.

Let us know how it goes!

I looked at a few recipes and it seems the key elements are:
1) firm, lower moisture cheese, cut into strips or big cubes
2) double coating (flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, then repeat all three steps)
3) freeze for 30 minutes to an hour
4) make sure oil is hot first (375F - 190C) and don't out too many pieces in at once. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
I bought a block of Colby cheese and cheddar, the havarti wouldn't be suitable yeah being to soft? Rather keep that and the edam for the salads.

Got a question, but not related to cheese🤣.

Slowly saving up for a Z7ii which is gonna take me a year or 3 to get, how would my AF-S 200-500mm 1:5.6E ED lens fair on this camera?

Would it give me a bit of an improvement, compared to the quality on the D5600?

I only just bought the AF-S lens this year and to spend another $2500 in the next couple of years for the NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR is giving me a bit of anxiety.

I feel I've wasted $2000 on the AF-S if i have to upgrade to the Z lens to get the most optical quality out of the Z7ii???

Ps. Edit. Is the optic quality roughly the same between the 2 different models or is the new Z glass just better?

The Dxxxx lenses should fit with the adapter. Other than that, I can’t really say.

You will need an adapter and you should get nearly the same in results as a Z lens. The Z lens are rated slightly better in most reviews but the difference is very minimal.

Hi all just preping my kit for tomorrow, I have been invited to shoot an event by a neighbour for his charity
Panic, not used the camera in months, other things took over

Bloody hell, the wind storm had me up all night. Was really worried about her tree and nest, went and visited her when i woke up and shes all good👍.

Only 1 fallen tree in the street.

We have used the same plumber for over a decade. He was here yesterday to replace the basement ejector. At $800 I was thinking as I wrote the check what I lens I could have bought. As he was leaving he told me he would see me next month! No!

Yeah I had 2 ground up, $200 for both.
Last time I had two done, it was $600. I had a several to do later and just rented the machine for $350. Cheaper lol

I just found out my favorite film was remastered on 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos. It was one of those things you immediately order without hesitation 😂

The movie is Twister. I loved it so much as a child that me and my dad went to Florida to see the set at universal studios and to go on their little ride.

So yeah I'm a fan. Still am.

You need to go chasing one with the camera.
