No BMW here, not even a big house.
Just a big o'l Chevy Truck, and all he does is slobber/shed all over my leather interior. (technically the truck is used for my work, so not really a luxury, ever try to get crude oil out of a cloth interior?)

I only use refined oil, because I am fancy like that.

Canuk - I wanted a big, lazy dog too and ended up finding the best of both worlds if you want pure-bred: we adopted a retired racing greyhound. They're quiet, very lazy, well trained and they live longer than most of the big dogs. My wife and I will probably never get any other type of dog again.

As to the original topic - nothing ticks me off like seeing a poor dog chained up outside in January. What's the point in having a pet if you're never going to interact with it.

the problem isn't people who go out and buy pure-breds and give their animal a good life.

the problem is people who buy pets but shouldn't because they are incapable of properly caring for another living thing, people who do not spay/neuter their pets and indirectly bring in litters of unwanted puppies/kittens into this world, and people that breed animals with genetic problems.

but kudos to anyone that does take in a mistreated animal and give it a good home.
