the flipped quarter

i saw a really beat up quarter and took a picture of it.

well for starters, (although I can't imagine how long it takes to get a shot like that, cause of the timing) the angle is a little off, I would rotate the camera more to the right. I like the shadow that shows in the background, but I think a more subtle look would be with the background completely dark and just the coin reflecting the light making you only pay atention to it instead of waching the background.

Along the lines of what Cuervo said, I think there's too much background and not enough subject.

yeah maybe you're right. i kind of liked it that way...i was going to do a more close up photo, but decided that it has just been done so many times already...
