i have no doubt someone would steal that around here. i actually live in a fairly low crime area but people here have some real strange sense of humors. And since the real poor were stealing man hole covers for scrap metal value (until they started getting refused at the scrap yards) this wouldn't make it a week anywhere around here unless it as entirely made out of plastic. One hick with a sledgehammer who wants beer money and it disappears.

I didn't get how it detects crime, or what it would do if confronted with a crime in progress.

yeah. cant imagine it would phase anyone if it said to stop. wasn't too long ago some prankters stole all the license plates off the police cruisers in a local town here one night.

True.. but if the town had invested in a couple of these babies those same pranksters would probably have been smashing them with sledgehammers and been too busy to take the license plates. That would have saved a ton of money from the license plate replacement budget right there.

well they already have security cameras that detected shadowy forms with hoodies. From what i heard they have great surveillance video of the top of their heads. But i guess they didn't want to take the time to do a roll call on everyones coats and sneakers in the area to figure out who dunnit.

So obviously all that's needed here is to educate the moms in the local area, and start having them sew the kids name into the top of the hoodie.
