No longer a newbie, moving up!
This is the lion's head of the constellation Leo. The very bright (larger) star in the lower centre of the image is Regulus. This is my first attempt at astrophotography and I really don't know what I'm doing yet. The image is a "stack" of 200 1/4 second exposures at 1 second intervals taken with a 50mm manual lens set at infinity and f1.8 mounted to a D200 shot with interval mode and itself mounted piggyback on an equatorial mounted Newtonian telescope.
