Koko is mine...Kilimanjaro is the bottom picture.. he belongs to a friend! We have several friend who are breeders of this wonderful species... so I have a lot of shots of different cats!

You may have also seen Raja, who is my girlfriends cats.

They are exotic hybrids.. and it depends on where you live. In some states and counties / cities... they are illegal to own. Most of Florida is ok.. a lot of breeders there that I know also. You have to be careful who you buy from. This breed needs to be very well socialized and loved starting as tiny kittens, or they can be standoffish. But they are awesome once you win their hearts... almost more like dogs. They will come when called, and meet you at the front door. Some of them love to play fetch.. and will use you as a toy to play with also. Extremely high energy.. always running. You have to Cat-Proof your house.. as they will be on every shelf and high up place, and love to knock things down. Love them! But they are definitely more work than a regular cat! Not cheap, either!

I have five cats...well acquainted with this subject! Although mine run when they see the camera lol here's a few though

This is Vi. She came to us very underweight.

Then she had kittens...4 of them.

They play all the time! I only had one cat prior to these too. Two young ones are so fun to watch.

My cat is pretty lazy. She hides under the bed most of the time. It takes her a long time to get used to new people (like, a year). Most guests we have don't even know we have a cat. She only comes out when there are familiar people around.

There are some nice looking kitties here. Here are ours.

Silverbell is a rescue that we've had about seven years. I need to get a better shot of her, but this is one of her usual poses.



Jasper was abandoned/lost at about four weeks. He was FLV+ and passed away when he was just over one year old, about seven months after this photo.


Zoe is our latest. She is also a rescue, about seven or eight months old, now.

Oh.. and for anyone who is curious about what lens I used.. it was my Nikon 28-300 (the one that is often dismissed as less than sharp!) I love it! I use it as a travel / walk-around lens.
