Love seeing all the kitties!!

Here's my Roxy girl..She's a little camera shy, so I need to get her when she's sleeping.

This is my wife's cat Bumpy J. Doodles. He is usually cranky unless sleeping or eating.

I hate the piece of window frame coming out of his back but this is about the only time he's been still for the past month or so. At 8 months old he doesn't spend much of his waking time sitting still for anything.

My cat, Delilah. She was a free cat we found on Craigslist. Delilah was the smallest cat of the bunch when we saw her for the first time at 8 weeks old. We rescued her from a house of 3 cigarette smokers and various other animals. I think she was grateful, and has repaid us by being a wonderful cat.

Wow, what a bunch of beautiful kitties!

I have never managed to get any decent photos of my cats, because they either want to jump up and stick their nose on the camera, or attack it, or turn their butt toward it. Or, if I actually manage to keep them still, it's in a place where there's junk laying around that clutters up the photo. Also, I'm just not that good at it.

But anyway, here are mine:
Calvin: She had a stroke a few years ago (yes, SHE. And HER name is Calvin...what can I say? When my boys were about 4 and 6, I'd just gotten separated and they wanted cats. So, I got them cats. Then they wanted to name them for their favorite comic strip characters, Calvin and Hobbes. So I let them. At least I didn't let them set fire to the lawn...) Anyway...Calvin had a stroke, and so now she just kinda croaks at you, and mostly doesn't wait much to do with anyone except my oldest son, who is off at college.

And finally...my eldest brought this stray home, and then promptly left for college, leaving me here with yet another cat. He named it...aw. well, I can *never* remember what he named it...I just call it "Demon Kitty." Her job is primarily to attack anything that moves, or even thinks about moving, and annoy the stuffing out of the two older cats. I call her Demon Kitty because I swear sometimes, just before she goes off on a tear, her eyes actually glow red.

And finally...a VERY rare picture of Hobbes and Demon Kitty actually snuggling together. This was at Christmas time, so maybe it was demon kitty's present to the other cat, to be nice to her for a day.

I fall asleep @ night with my fingers buried in her fur. We have had many cats but Cricket is by far the softest of all to touch.
