In the summer they were very skittish and afraid of any boat on the lake or people laughing or yelling down the shoreline. Now that the summer is over and the seasonal neighbors are gone they are coming out earlier and do not seem to concerned if I move around. Tonight I set the camera up outside on the deck with a remote trigger and one came out and watched me setup the camera. They have come to know me and I am convinced they know I mean them no harm. They remain respectful and do not approach too close which is fine by me. They need to stay away from people and have done a good job of that over the summer just allowing me to see them. I heard of no one else along the shore who saw them this summer. They sure have grown since mid July and sure are looking good. I am glad I helped the two orphans out when they needed it.
