These photos are normally 2048 pixels wide by 1536 pixels high, so they might look a little distorted.

They are both pretty boring I'm sorry to say - you really need to have a subject in a photograph.

Also, get rid of that date stamp.

I see an attempt at composition in the first pic that was foiled by a drab overcast day. Had the sun been shining illuminating the trees in the background & a nice blue sky the previous two posters may of had a different opinion.
