Theme - Shallow DOF

300mm at f/5.6. The DOF was narrower than I would have anticipated, even though 5.6 is "wide open" for this lens (70-300).

Oh my, the short role thing is wearing on me. Time to dust off the digital... batteries are spent. poop, I'm pooped. I love film. Pushed ISO 3200, test on Sunday. Holy crap, what have I got my self into... another journal book is what I think.

One of my usual models besides the grandkids. His second trip to the nature preserve. I've been 7 times in the past few weeks thanks to the first challenge. Normally I do not shoot at f1.8 because of movement and hard to get the eyes and the nose in focus.
