Can't say thanks enough to everyone!!!!!!!

Man, this is just amazing....... i love it, i really do... every time i look at it it sends a shiver down my spine.... and i think it may have left a mental scar on my brother who i showd it to lol :D

Simply awsome! P.S i need to get a gas mask... it really adds to the shot!

out of interest... how much pre-planning and post processing did this take?

thanks,

Fate

Thanks Fate and SpaceNut.

Space was really limited! There are objects just out of frame in every direction. My camera was on a tripod about 6 1/2 feet in the air. So I had to use a ladder to view and setup the shots.

The hardest thing was the lighting. This is two seperate shots. So the lighting had to be different in each shot. I had to take about two dozen trial shots to get the light right on the main character. And then again on the victim. Of course, once I finally got the lighting right, I had to reshoot the pose.

The second hardest part was that I was working alone. So the victim, also took several tries. In case you didn't notice...the victim isn't wearing any clothes and is partially duct-taped and blindfolded. Well...I had to compose and then try and get back over there without falling before the shutter went off. That fake blood is pretty slippery! That prolly looked pretty funny :D

The post work was actually pretty easy. It just required blending the two frames together and making some basic level and light adjustments. I also tweaked the wb in the victim frame to give it that slight greenish tint.

woah, that is scary..... wouldve got a few police call outs if you ran around a city area like that...

amazing shot - now there is dedication for you. Interesting read on how you did it :) its things like this that give the wife-beater vest a bad name ;)

(speechless) I dont think i have ever reacted as much to a photo as i did when I saw this...excellent work
