This commercial is mesmerizing!

I had to comment on this commercial which I find to be absolutely mesmerizing. If you haven't seen it before, take a look. It's only 1:00 long but in that time I become totally hooked. :shock:

The lighting, costumes, the whole idea is excellent!

That was some creative use of Blondie's Rapture. One of those songs I had hoped never to hear again.
The costumes make the whole thing. That liquid silk thing. The choreography is great, but the timing and synchronization of the dancers not so great.
ANYTHING Baileys is mesmerizing in my book. I love that stuff!

Oh dear God, I did NOT need THAT song stuck in my head today!! Unfortunately, I know every single inane word to that song. I have actual work to get done today, and really don't need to be humming..."and out come a man from Mars and you try to run but he's got a gun and he shoots you dead and he eats your head. And then you're in the Man from Mars..."

At any rate, I do like the end of it where they dive into the glass and *become* Bailey's...but overall, the commercial just makes me want to bang my head against a wall to knock that insipid song back out of it.

It *does* make me want Bailey's. But they needn't have bothered to spend all the money. A simple 15-second commercial with nothing but that last image on the screen, Bailey's pouring into a glass and the bottle sitting next to it--along with the words, "Bailey's. You know you want some. Now go buy it." That'd do the trick for me! :lol:

Good ad!!!! I think Bailey's is like many companies that sell ALMOST ALL of their products between Thanksgiving and New Year's!!! They try and go for the really powerful, catchy ads. Think of the ads that REALLY get into your head...like those awful Andre champagne adverts...or the various annoying jewlery stores adverts...if I hear "he went to Jared." one more time, I might just scream.
