So my wife has all these crazy ideas for things we can do to make some extra money, retire rich, that sort of thing. I usually listen for about a minute then tune her out because her idea has obvious issues (at least to me) that will break it.

But, she just came up with a real zinger and you know what? I think she may be on to something...so much so that I think I am going to throw some real money at this idea and pray that God takes care of the rest. Him and his friends with $$$ to spend.

So, that's it. I just wanted you to know I will be retiring rich if this thing works out for the best.

Otherwise, I may need to learn how to shoot a wedding...

If you think I'll take a 1D M5, well,............ I will. But I'll need more than a Sigzilla and a gimbal head. I'll need the attendant fisheye to 500mm troupe of lenses (primes AND zooms), two more bodies (with grips!), a bellows, all the knick-knacks like filters and releases, a suite of new software.........

I will also need a blood transfusion........ out with the black & yellow, in with the red & white.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I would love to share more, but we need to secure some security first (design patent, trade mark, etc.). Let's just say it's a twist on an existing product we all know and use, ALL of us, but it's better.

I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines. I'm throwing caution to the wind and going for it! Whoop! Whoop!

JW--Naysayers aside, I wish you all the best. I hope it IS a viable idea and that you pursue it and find satisfaction in the process as well as in the results! I've had those ideas before, and never act on them. More than once, I've then seen "my idea" come to fruition at the hands of someone else who eventually comes up with the same idea, and kicked myself for not pursuing it myself. But I just don't think "entrepreneur" is really in my genes.
