Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Well I went out in the cold for a short bit today to play with the new camera. I have made my way through 95% of the manual and used it to help me a little bit. Hopefully as the weather gets better I can make it out to some better locations and keep on shooting. This was my first attempts at using manual setting on a camera instead of just auto everything.

(That one I messed around with a bit for fun on my lap top..might have made a bad situation worse but it was fun none the less.)

They are rather awesome but the horizontal lines in #2 are tilted. Straightening them would improve it. I would clone out the power lines in #3

Love the first two!

At first looking at number one, I thought you posted a computer generated graphic. I had to really look to figure out that it is a sculpture. Good on you!

I like! Great job! I agree about cloning out the power lines - it will clean it up quite a bit...

There is a sculpture garden in down town and I have always been enamored with the letter sculpture. As far as I can tell it doesn't spell anything.

Here is a picture of what it looks like from a distance. I waited hoping the guy behind it would move but he lasted longer in the cold than me!

Very cool! Too bad about the guy. You'll go back, though, right?

The park area looks like lots of potential for some fun stuff.

The small waterfall intrigues me, the movement is eyecatching. Can this be framed differently? Were you shooting tight because of 'other' stuff you did not want to see?
Maybe shoot it in portrait, or stand back and open the compositon, with an unorthodox crop later.

Great take on the sculpture in #1. Home run shot.

I love these! But the second one is probably my favorite! And I don't think the man behind the statue is a bad thing. It adds a bit of depth and proportion to it, imho.

LOVE #1! I think that guy did you a favor, great shot! I like the rest as well, but favor 1.

Love the first shot like everyone else! When I saw it, I knew exactly what it was. We have a sculpture garden also and they have a similar sculpture there. Kind of jealous you can walk INTO yours, there's no opening in ours :(

The second is nice, but the highlights are a bit too intense. Try backing off on them and then making them stand out by darkening the shadows and mid-tones on the wall.
