What's new

This photographer is just WOW!

Hmm odd the site isn't loading for me at all (and I'm on the home net so nothings blocked). Anyone else having trouble?

Some lovely shots there.... absolutely! Love the light on the woman with pink background (on the main site) .. and the woman on the rock above water, on the link you posted! Wonderful stuff! :)

Check out the EPIC series under projects.. wild stuff!

The colors the processing the compositions are exquisite. Thanks for posting.

Nice stuff! (NSFW though, for others reading)

Oops! You're right. I forgot about that :)

Maybe a mod can add the NSFW to the title for me...

I just get 1½ pix of some nekkid lady diving into a lake.

Try the horizontal navigation bar at the bottom. You move left to right through the images.

Here's another link. Hope it works better for you.

Very nice. Although I often think to myself that I should be selling my photos when I look at guys like this. He has a few rock climbing shots of random people with arms outstretched towards a rock that can only be described as holiday snaps that he's selling for $125.

Please go ahead.

I don't mean to say anything about your work but I've heard the same kind of stuff about Picasso by people who couldn't draw a stick figure... Or was it about Jackson Pollock by people who couldn't draw a straight line :lmao:

Oh, I'm not criticising it! If they're selling, then great! I loved the underwater series and the EPIC series you mentioned is mind-blowing, I just thought that the rockclimbing ones didn't quite match the rest of the portfolio and thought that maybe I could chuck a few holiday snaps in my portfolio since, as long as the rest of your shots are amazing, the holidays snaps seem to absorb some of the amazingness...

Forkie, let's get one thing straight. Those are not my shots. I like them and I'm sharing them. Period.

I have no idea if they are selling (I'm trying hard to remember where I actually saw them...) and I was only interested in the water ones. As in, follow the link?????

I can't keep you or anyone else from going further but don't make it what I said or did, thanks.

Either I've upset you or you are offended on [the photographer] Neil Craver's behalf. You seem to think that I thought these were your images, I don't think I said or implied that in either of my posts, neither did I actually criticise any of the images.

I looked at the shots you referred to and have expressed my liking of them, but since I liked the photos you linked to so much, I decided to explore the rest of his portfolio and just decided to comment on my wonderings about the saleability of some others that I saw on the website.

Apologies if I offended you. Or him. Or you on behalf of him.

Please go ahead.

I'd have to agree with Forkie a bit.

He has some interesting images for sure.

But then sometimes he seems like he's hiding an average image behind dramatic processing. And many of the rock climbing photos are kind of 'meh.'

Furthermore and by the same token, restaurants are usually reviewed by critics who can't cook, music by reviewers who can't sing or play a note and movies by journalists who couldn't pretend to be a tree.

If we only ever preached to the choir, there'd be no point.

Thanks. I'm glad I'm not the only one!
