Well after spending most of my day studying up on ISO, Aperature, and Shutter speed, I got to spend my night at work. At 1 a.m. I get home and find a tripod my wife picked up. Nothing fancy, but allows me to work with some slow shutter speeds without the blur from my unsteady hand. So needless to say I put on my camera and pointed it out the window at a tree that I have been wanting to shoot for a couple weeks now.

I enjoy the picture more without the post in the bottom corner. your version makes the picture look more black and white, which i actually enjoy. However, the tree in the unedited picture really looks like that, light and all. I think that is what originally caught my eye about it.
