Took these last week. The ducks were quite cooperative models, and the Macaw was less than thrilled at me for waking him from his slumber. Judging by the evil eye he was giving me, anyway... C&C always appreciated.

1. 200mm, f/5, 1/400, ISO200 (I think I might have pushed the colors too far on this one?)

2. 82mm, f/4, 1/320, ISO400

3. 86mm, f/2.8, 1/400, ISO200 And my personal favorite...

I really like these alot. They are so sharp nicely done.

I like them all, but especially the macaw(?). I think the colours are nice. The second duckie is a bit distracting in the second photo for me...

These are wonderful. I don't think that you pushed the colors too much. I think they look deep. I would suggest that you crop in number 3 a little bit and don't leave him/her in the dead center. Just my opinion though. ;)

Thanks for the comments!

shefjr, I went back and forth on the crop. Again and again, I cropped it one way, then another, then back again. In the end, I just kept settling on the uncropped frame. For some reason, I like the way he's isolated, vulnerable. Sort of like, "uh oh, he sees me, if I don't move, he won't eat me." Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I really like the eye detail in #1, #3 is great and would be even better if it were cropped vertically.

Awsome looking birds

Finally got around to trying the crop suggested, and it definitely made the photo! Thanks for the suggestion.
