thoughts on tripod

I do a lot of hiking and so I've been looking for a compact tripod that will fit in my backpack. I was told about the slik pro 340DX.Id be grateful to hear any thoughts on this tripod.

I found it here http://www.intro2020.co.uk/pages/slikpress.htm it looks decent. I know the head is a good one because I have it on one of my tripods and it is solod and reliable. I don't kow if I would trust a D2X with a SB800 on it but for general use it is good.
