Thrasher gathering nesting materials

Saw these two thrashers in my back yard gathering nesting materials, I think I found the nest they are working on in a large bush on my fence line

Yes i used the Better beamer and my flash. I have been using it lately controlling it manually usually starting at 1/4 power depending on how far the subject is and adjusting as needed.

some say there is a better option now. harbor digital flash extender. it seems to be better built, maybe a little bit more expensive.

but usually a flash by itself can get pretty far, the extenders do help save flash power, and extend it for range with lenses 300mm and longer.
