actually I just looked over the flickr version and it seems a lot punchier and saturated than what's in aperture. I think something may be up with how it uploads when you do it directly from aperture instead of first exporting the jpeg, and then directly uploading that to flickr. This isn't the first time this has happened. I'll re-upload and see if that makes a difference.

here's what happened when instead of using aperture's in program upload to flickr, I instead exported as a .tiff and then uploaded to flickr via flickr's website uploader. Pretty different:

Your comments are less than useful

Mostly getting thoughts on the other aspects.

Please explain the other aspects you are concerned about. Pretty straight forward pose, so no dramatic angles to comment about. Clean, balanced lighting. No props, no backgrounds, no emotional interaction to worry about either. Other than tweaking it in post, what are your concerns?

I wasn't sure. Something felt sort of off, but I couldn't really identify it. Hence posting it. I guess it was just an accumulation of relatively minor details. This lighting setup is sort of made to work with very minor tweaks for between 1 and 8 people shots, maybe it's just the sort of 'blahness' that such a generic setup engenders. Just wanted to see if anybody saw something that would be a sort of 'ah ha' moment, even if it was a long shot. I'm fairly new to portraiture, outside of an athletic team realm, so just trying to get some ideas.

Edit: and just for clarity's sake 'your comments are less than useful' wasn't from me. I think you realized that, but I appreciate any and all commentary on my photos.

Dude, you REALLY need to get rid of that growth under that chicks armpit. It looks like a...well...lets just say that part usually doesn't grow under a armpit

BTW, Mully's edit cleared the birth defect up nicely :lol:

Haha. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, that's what happens when you try to jam breasts as big as hers into a small strapless dress with lots of fashion tape holding things in place.
