Three photos I took. What do you think? What can I do better? What works and what doesn't?

I'll be honest, I don't get much from #2 and 3, but maybe I'm not an abstract kind of guy. #2 is just way too busy (the BW doesn't help much), and #3 is way to..un-busy? I feel like you could chop off 3/4 of the photo and still tell the same story if any. Granted, #1 isn't a bad photo, but I think it could have done with a less distracting background, and less depth of field.
