Throwing Flower Petals

If you saw my other post, you'll see we were out with the kids to attempt some portraiture. While I was snapping photos I didn't realize my Daughter had managed to pluck a pile of flowers from the bushes (Ooops), so I decided to test out the speed of the new 85mm 1.8g. Here is the series. I'm missing the second shot which I accidentally focused behind here when she ducked down, so it is no good.

Cute series, again, I'd suggest chosing your backgrounds with more care; it's a bit busy and distracting and the bright part of the wall tends to drag the eye from the subject.

Thanks tirediron! I didn't even notice the background, but now that you mention it I agree that it is distracting. Again, a few steps to the left would have made a big difference.

I didn't notice that. Thanks for pointing out. I guess I got caught up in trying to catch the action and forgot about composition.
