nice vanishing point, and i really like how the water blurred, it didn't go to soft, and kind of went out in those seperate white streaks . . . really cool and different sense of motion for a slow shutter water shot.

Thanx, Mike. I tried several times in different locations to catch motion without being totally washed out. This one was best. I printed it on canvas and all my friends asked "Where'd you buy the painting?"

except for the camera beginning to sink. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

It does look like a painting and I love the softness of the water. Second one is just as beautiful.

Time exposure and water are my next projects that I want to attempt. I love it. Planning on doing some hiking in August around some waterfalls in NY, so I hope to get it figured out by then.

More great shots, love the waves in the first shot but I prefer the angle and colour of the 2nd shot

Agree with lostprophet about the colour in the second. I'm sure a few seconds of tweaking in photoshop can restore the colours in the first image so they look like the second.
