I took a friend out to get her mind off of life in general, she was feeling pretty down so I played off of that. She climbs rocks more or less for a living.

I like these a lot. I do think however [Minor nit warning!] that just a little more facial detail in #1 and a litlte more overall frontal detail in #3 would have made them even stronger. Not a lot, just enough light so we could see hints of face, clothing etc.

I like the dramatic light.

The first two could have used a reflector to get a bit more facial detail under the hat.

I think the third could have really benefited from a second light from below on the entire subject.
