To the mall and back.

I picked up my 5D Mark II the other day and I've finally been able to take a few snapshots with the sun in the sky! (Night worker, sleep all day work all night etc.)
I needed to pick up a CF card reader and it's a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to snap a few pics along the way. C&C very welcome. (Heading to Europe at the end of the year and could really use all the assistant I can get to improve before-hand. Trips to Europe don't come round too often!)

All shot with a 70-200mm f/4 L.

Living next to a lake, there was no shortage of ducks to 'shoot', so heres two.

This shy bird shows himself every now and then, anyone know what bird this is?

This was taken the afternoon I got my camera, there was little light left in the sky but hey, I was excited.
Unfortunately this place was completely fenced off and you'll notice the wire fence 'overlay' in this picture. (I know the sky is also overblown in this one)
