I actually saw George on the Osprey platform. When I parked my car and got out, he flew the 300 yards and landed next to my car... We were having a nice time until the mean Blue jays showed up...

Looks like you had a great day! I have eyes on an Osprey nest and I have shot pictures twice now. This past weekend, I got to the nesting sight at daybreak but the fog was very thick until 8AM... My gear doesn't do any justice compared to your shots.. I am planning on going back again soon... I have access to a Canon Ti3, and I'd really like to get ahold of a 600mm lens...
