4 Ibises have been a white elephant for me. I shot this from my car with it running, so it might be a little soft. I was leaving a state park and the park ranger behind me didn't appreciate it when I slammed on my brakes, lol..

8 This was one greedy sparrow, I love how his mouth is stuffed, he was still singing and he had a worm on his head! Impressive in my book

There was more, but I figured 9 was pushing it, thanks for looking!

Yeah #8, that one of top of the head cracked me up!!! The muddy-rooted sawgrass (what I call it) the osprey has in its talons, to be used for nesting material, wow, that is really nifty! I also love #6, the bird perched on top of some kinda small coniferous tree or bush...love that one.

I think you have mastered that lens now!! :D

I always find the leaping shots funny ... I even keep the ones that suck in IQ, just for amusement.

Sheesh. I don't know why I would even bother looking at the birds when I go outside - you do a much better job. I hear them, but I don't usually SEE them. And here you have them, detailed down to the feather barbettes. As for the sparrow - he's one over-achiever. Hopefully he's not doing this because he's supporting three or four nests at the same time.

wow! Amazing! no one mentioned #6, so I will because I like birds looking back over their shoulder like that almost as much as I like BIFs.

Ahhh, someone else that likes the legs up in a bird shot, very nice on the Grackle and the Ibis, man those are nice birds !!!. All superb as always Kris, but that Sparrow is bang on, wonderful BG and sharp details, nice head turn as well. That's a stunning shot. #8 & #9, beautiful type of Sparrow, amazing in fact and brilliant behaviour going on.

All the best Kris and love them all, fine shooting there.

Danny.

I love these photos. Great job. That osprey has an intense look in his eye. On a mission. Love the Cedar Waxwing too. Great shots. You re very talented.
