C&C welcome. Yes I know I have some major issues with over exposure..

This would be really nice if you did some post processing work on it.

any suggestions? I already fiddled with some shadowing. Thats how i got her eyes the way they are.

The eyes contrast with her skin quite a lot, looks kinda odd.

You mentioned that the exposure issues are the biggest problem. If you underexposed a little and then added a reflector or flash from camera right I think that this would become quite a bit better.

here's my quick shot at it. the first thing i noticed is that you did something weird to her eyes though? do you have the original? I might be able to fix it.

Ran it through LR to fix the exposure and to add some fill light and sharpend in PS with some added softening to the skin and cloned in some hair to cover the blown out bit
