This could have used HDR. I only say that because the light points in the snowman seem a touch overexposed, but the face seems underexposed. And I agree with Keith, the extra space adds nothing to the photo.

True, I should've gone ahead and used my tripod that was sitting right next to me. I just wanted to show that you can take pictures of Christmas lights without a tripod even and they can still be decent with the right composition.
