I have a nikon d3300 with a 18-200mm lens.
I wanna use it to capture a pretty simple shot but I want it to be done extremely smooth which seems to be a huge hurdle for my 18-200mm lens (which I realize is not designated for video but for still photo).
Basically, i wanna set it up on a tripod and then zoom out using manual zoom. I want to to this very, very slowly, like in a span of 20-30 seconds. However, i can't seem to be able to do this with my hands - either I suck or the lens just refuse to do it without being all jacky and shaky in the process.
Are there any cheap tools I can buy to help me with this? I'm thinking some sort of grip? I have no idea what to google for (I've googled a lot).
Also, I'd love to make slow motion videos with this camera but slowing it down in Adobe Premiere doesn't make it look smooth and beautiful (especially not when panning). Any tips on Beginner's Slow Motion with Nikon D3300?
