Train arriving 91 years apart

Love the idea of pictures in the same place in different eras.

I've seen this edit done before, and wanted to try it, but lack photos that are decades apart.

These photos make a great combination photo and I wanted to share:

I gave it a shot

Sorry if the edit offends you, and I'll be more than happy to take it down if you want.

Thanks, Ralph

Wow. Nicely done. I remember Big Mike posted a link a couple of months ago that had several pictures similarly edited. They were sites in Europe, present day blended with WWII scenes.

Here's the link:http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/photographic-discussions/227840-ghosts-wwii.html

Yes. That's the thread where I saw this type of edit.

I think it might be fun to try to locate some old local photographs, then go out and try to reproduce the perspective of the old photos and merge them like above.

My hat goes off to the original poster for being able to so closely reproduce the perspective. I don't imagine this is easy. (Especially if you have a train coming at you  )

I agree with everyone as well. That's a great concept shot. Right on for them restoring the tracks. It's like they knew you were coming
