Tree Line Near Hoosier Pass, CO

This is a photo I took while on a 9 day 4500 mile road trip last September. Thought it made for a good B&W.

That's a new and unusual usage of the term "tree line".

Decent shot... I find myself wanting a bit more contrast in the sky... the sunflare near center is a bit distracting, but that's my taste. Also, I see some dust spots you should clean in post or get your sensor cleaned. Hoosier pass is a great spot - did you get any shots/views of Quandary or Silverheels?

Now in these new images I can see the timberline. Nice, haven't been up there in a while.

It slipped my mind that a "tree line" or "timberline" was a specific thing. I was loosely referring to the fact that the trees made a line. Haha.

Edit: This was in September of last year. It was a spectacular time to tour the American west. Now if I could just get paid to travel...
