My puppy (9 years old), passed away this weekend. Sam was much more than a pet or companion to me. She was, in truth, my best friend.

Out of love and respect, I wanted to share this tribute I made for her....

I made the collage and took all but 2 of the photos that make it up...

Beautiful. Whole latta love there. Sorry for you loss. Ed

So sorry for your loss. Pets really are so much more than pets, they are our "kids" and are greatly missed when they are gone. My family keeps insisting when one of ours passes that we aren't going to get another because we don't want to go through the heartbreak when we lose them. We always end up with a new baby because we miss the companionship and support they give. They depend on us for everything but we depend on them for so much as well and they can never be replaced.

Sorry for your loss. I'm going to go out on a limb though and say that if you have all those pictures of her, I'm sure you also spoiled her like crazy, and that she musta had a hell of a life. :D

Sorry for your loss. Those are great moments of Sam with you and the family.

Looks a happy dog, well kept sir!
You maybe should get another sometime; lots of dogs out there, just like Sam, but in need of rescue and good home.

I am sorry for your loss. My dogs are my best friends too. I am sure most of us can relate.

Very nice. The sad thing about dog ownership is, they don't live long enough to truly grow old with them. We lost our 11 yr old black lab two years ago to cancer and now our 13 year old English Springer is going through life changes almost daily. We've had both since pups.
They ARE mans best friend and would give their life for their owner and ask for nothing in return but maybe a pat on the head or a favorite treat.
I am very sorry for your loss. When our lab died, it was like losing a family member.

The only time I have seen my father cry is when we had our family dog put down. My Black Lab is my daughter. I like to think she will live for ever. :( Sorry you lost your friend.
